Start Learning Falun Dafa in Taiwan
Welcome to learn Falun Dafa!
To start, you are advised to read “Falun Gong” and “Zhuan Falun”, and join us in our group practice to learn five sets of exercises.

Q: What is “Falun Gong” ?
A: Falun Dafa is also called Falun Gong. It was originated by Master Li Hongzhi and taught publicly in 1992. He has taught people to behave with “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” to continuously improve their mind. At the same time, he has taught people five sets of exercises to improve fitness. The exercises are soothing and graceful, easy to learn.
Q: What are the precepts for practicing Falun Gong ?
A：Falun Gong has no precepts, no idol worship, no teacher apprenticeship ceremony, and no regulations. Learn as much as you want, leave as you want.
Q: If I believe in other religions, such as Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, etc., can I also practice Falun Gong ?
A：Falun Gong is not a religion. There are no temples, churches, initiation ceremonies such as precepts or baptisms. People with other religious beliefs, as you learn more about Falun Dafa, you will gradually know how to straighten the relationship and keep practicing.
Q: Falun Gong is so good, why is it forbidden to learn in mainland China ?
A：
In the early days of its spread, Falun Gong was supported deeply by the Chinese government. At the “Oriental Health Eexposition ” in Beijing in December 1993, Mr. Li Hongzhi was the qigong master who won the most awards.
Before 1999, the Chinese media made many positive and objective reports about Falun Gong. Even the CPC’s official media CCTV also reported that the director of the General Administration of Sports went to Changchun to inspect the grand occasion of people practicing Falun Gong to get rid of diseases and keep healthy .
Just because Falun Gong is so good and the number of practitioner is increasing day by day, Jiang Zemin forbade practicing it. According to statistics from the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, in early 1999, there were 70 to 100 million people practicing Falun Gong in mainland China, far exceeding the 60 million members of the CPC at that time. In 1999, six of the seven members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee disagreed with the suppression, but out of jealousy, Jiang Zemin insisted on going his own way, substituting power for the law, and launched this bloody persecution.
Q: What is about the book of “Falun Gong” ?
A：In the early days, Falun Gong is taught in the form of Qigong. This book expounds the principles of cultivation and practice . And there are llustrations and explanations of the exercise movements , some basic requirements and precautions for practicing Falun Gong in the book. It is recommended to be read first for western beginners.
Q: What is about the book of “Zhuan Falun” ?
A：“Zhuan Falun” is a compilation of lectures by Master Li in his instructional classes expounding the true principle of universe. It is the main teaching for genuinely guiding cultivation. Frequent reading this book is essential for genuine high caliber of cultivation and practice.

Q: Where is Master Li Hongzhi now ?
A：
Before the Chinese government persecuted Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi was invited to give lectures abroad, and later lived in the United States.
Regarding the unreasonable persecution of Falun Gong, he once offered to talk to the top leaders of the CPC, but the other party didn’t accept it. The CPC persecutes the people without respecting the law. Master Li has to guide Dafa disciples around the world to practice. Tt’s unnecessary for him to return to China to be a victim.
Facing the CPC’s slander, and brutal suppression of Falun Gong, Master Li still instructs Dafa disciples to clarify the truth peacefully and not in extreme ways. From 2000 to 2003, he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize consecutively.
